OFFICE MANAGER (required for Autumn Term 2022)

Grade 6

37 hours per week (Term time only)

The salary will be £19,986.64 – 22,957.98 (Actual Salary)

The Governors of the school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking individual with excellent IT, organisational and communication skills who will be responsible for the day to day running of an extremely busy school office. A knowledge of management information systems and financial procedures are essential, as is the ability to be flexible and prioritise a demanding workload. Confidentiality and discretion are essential.

St Oswald’s Catholic Primary School is a fully inclusive school.  The successful candidate will be an important team member of our committed and dedicated staff.

We are looking for an Office Manager who:

• has experience working in an educational office environment;
• has experience of a wide range of financial responsibilities;
• has experience of using school administrative and financial systems, including Capita FMS and Arbor;
• has experience of the development, management and operation of  administration systems;
• has excellent interpersonal skills in order to form positive and professional relationships with adults and children;
• is friendly and approachable with a welcoming and professional manner;
• is able to manage Reception and front of house duties;
• is highly motivated and has the ability to prioritise and work well under pressure;
• has excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• is fully competent in the use of IT packages, with experience of using Microsoft Office;
• Ideally has experience of school business functions, including budget management, human resources, premises management and health and safety.
