Autumn Term 2015Posted on Wednesday, September 9th, 2015.
A very warm welcome back to all our children, parents, governors and friends of the school.
Our children arrived looking really smart on Wednesday 2nd September and were ready to meet their new teachers and see all their friends again. All the staff have been delighted this week with the children who have been well behaved, displayed lovely manners, been happy and upbeat and have been ready to work. There has been great spirit in the school this week helping to make it an excellent start to the new school year.
Our new reception children have joined the school part-time and will be joining us full-time from Monday 14th September. They have all made a great start in the Reception class with Miss Morris and Mrs Fox. Long may these happy days continue. We welcome all reception children and parents and families into our school community.
This academic year we will continue to promote and maintain the highest standards in all areas of our school life and ask all members of our school community; Staff, Children, Governors and Parents to be committed to this aim. We are once again over subscribed this year due to our success and high standards. Please help us to maintain our standards at our school for your children now and for children in the future.
We aim for all children at St Oswald’s to develop a love of learning, a thirst for knowledge, an understanding and appreciation of their faith, religion and world they live in and… to have happy times with us.
I look forward to the year ahead and working with you all.
